METER & LIGHT: NIGHT
Meter & Light: Night reproduces the interlocking rhythms of time in nocturnal Muslim life, uncovering the mystical movements and rituals of religious practice that happen after sundown. The work uses contemporary artistic forms to illuminate forgotten and/or embodied understandings of ritual and religion, particularly in the Islamic diaspora.
